What Happened?
Hinrich Sachs and Barnaby Drabble will talk about reenactment, re-performance and reinvention as part of the discussion What Happened? at the Kunsthalle Bern, on Friday the 17th August from 4pm to 8pm.
The discussion is intended as a reflection on the exhibition Allan Kaprow: Kunst als Leben - Art as Life and in particular on the re-staging of several of his Happenings undertaken by Students of the Academy of the Arts in Bern.
Amongst the other speakers the students will present documentation of their Happenings, describe how they reacted to Kaprow’s scores and look back on the Kaprow-Summer in Bern.
